Due to the growing global food demand, small and medium agricultural enterprises face severe operations management challenges. Many farmers lack of the time, money, or expertise to invest in expensive equipment or technology and do not have access to the latest research and best agriculture practices. As a result, they struggle to optimize crop production and are not able to compete with larger, more technologically advanced farms.
Our solution is to introduce the use of drones as a primary tool to service small and medium local agriculture enterprises in monitoring crop management and analyzing vegetation and plants' health in a subscription model. The "Agrotor" platform would allow farmers and other stakeholders to access maps and models of their fields, created using data collected by a fleet of drones equipped with high-resolution cameras and other sensors.
